We were all incredibly reluctant to leave Boracay but it’s a consolation to know that with Tiger Air cheap and direct flight from Singapore to Kalibo, paradise is no longer too far away.
Our return flight was 8.15am and that meant checking out of the hotel at the ungodly hour of 4.30am so that we can reach the Kalibo Airport 2 hours ahead of our departure time. I can already hear you moaning at the horrible timing but I’ve good news for you. After listening to feedbacks, Tiger Air is now scheduling their returning flights from Kalibo to Singapore at 3.45pm instead! That means you can still enjoy a lovely hotel breakfast by the beach before your check out leisurely about noon. It’s quite perfect so please make sure you book your Tiger Air return flight anytime starting 1st September 2013.
In a blink of an eye, we were up in the air and back to city island Singapore and Boracay seemed like a beautiful dream.
I had a serious bout of post holiday depression after coming back home and missed the gorgeous azure waters of Boracay badly. The fact that I left my heart in Boracay can be clearly seen since I continued to wear outfits straight from my unpacked suitcase for another day or two after I was home in Singapore. I couldn’t shake off my beach holiday moods.
I’m now planning for my new beach getaway! As a special bonus, I’m going to tell you a way for you to possibly win a 5 days 4 night vacation for two to Boracay with flights, accommodation and some activities fully taken care off! Just cast your votes (Please vote for Karen ah!) by clicking on the white dot with my face on it and fill up your particulars at http://contests.omy.sg/boracay-island-escapade to stand a chance to win. You can vote once a day until 2nd September. Please ask you partner, friends, family to vote as well so they can all get a chance to win and possibly bring you along!
If you’ve decided to go Boracay regardless of whether you win the contest or not, read all about my Boracay adventure to glean some insights on what to do, how to get there, where to stay and more! I wrote so much about Boracay after I got back not because I had to but because I wanted to. My trip to Boracay left me with many deep impressions and sweet memories.
