Baskin-Robbins in Singapore

Recently, I attended Baskin-Robbins official store opening in Singapore at Velocity. It was such a fun filled event with Singapore’s favorite SPG, “Barbarella”, from the popular local comedy program, “The Noose”, as the host of the evening!

Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops! And they just opened 2 stores in Singapore. One at Velocity (Novena) and the other at Clementi Mall. The store at Velocity marks the 4000th Baskin-Robbins store worldwide and both Baskin-Robbins’ International President, Mr. Srinivas Kumar, as well as the President and Owner of Singapore and Malaysia’s Baskin-Robins stores, Mr S.Y. Cheah were there to officiate the opening.

Famous for its selection of 31 flavors—Baskin-Robbins “31®” stands for a different ice cream flavor for each day of the month—the company has developed more than 1,000 flavors in its library. In addition to the shop’s new look and feel, Baskin-Robbins will also adapt its menu to the Singaporean palate.  The brand will offer traditional American favorites like “Mint Chocolate Chip” and “Jamoca® Almond Fudge,” while also offering traditional Southeast Asian flavors, including Green Tea and Mango Tango™ which is made with King Alfonso mangos from India.  Singaporeans can also expect a brand new ice cream flavor to be introduced every month as part of the company’s signature Flavor of the Month Program.

It was a night of fun and games with “Babarella” as a very interactive and captivating host. I totally love her! The staff at Baskin-Robbins were all super happy and friendly and the service was excellent! We had free flow of ice-cream throughout the whole event so we could try out the multitude of flavors that they offer everyday! I even got to create my own milkshake!

I’m definitely going to be making Bakin-Robbins regular visits cause I’m a huge ice-cream fan. The flavors I tried got me hooked! Cotton Candy ice-cream amazingly really tasted like cotton candy and other than just ice-cream, they had sorbets, and milkshakes as well.  Their prices are also more pocket friendly in comparison to *ahem* another ice-cream chain store that in in Singapore so I’ll probably drop by to buy a pint or two home next time.

The black and white ribbon sweater dress I wore is from Dazzelette which has tons of pre-order clothes. If you want to take a look at their selection of clothes and shoes,  you can add Dazzelette on facebook to view.
