Baking Lesson

Sushi and some friends wanted to learn how to make cookies with frosting so I became the teacher for a day when we organised a little baking session at Sushi’s place.

First was a quick trip to get all the required ingredients.

First was the weighing and mixing of the ingredients and once the dough was formed and kneaded into the right consistency, it was time to cut the cookies into our preferred shapes.

It wasn’t all work and no play! When the cookies were in the oven, the guys were rocking the guitar hero on wii while Janice and Sushi played on the electric scooter. Ben and I helped to fry up a batch of carrot cake for tea!

Once the cookies were ready, it was time to decorate them! Everyone was playing with the colors and creative juices were flowing!

Dave had the honor of working with the most difficult color… RED!

As it turns out… my mild discomfort in the morning became full blown that afternoon and I was feeling really sick so once the cookies were done and I’m imparted my knowledge I quickly packed up and headed home. As it turns out, I was really pretty sick for the rest of that week with fever and flu and had about a week’s worth of MC!

Here are some of the cookies we made… pretty good for 1st timers I think!

And here is my outfit post for that day.  Looking a little pale that day too.

And here are some shots of the dress without the long cardi.

PS – I’m letting the long cardi(without belt) go for $15 each inclusive of normal mail. If you’re interested, please drop me a mail at renzze@gmail.com or leave a comment.
