The jap food price range is about 9 HKD to 45HKD for sushi and for specialty sashimi like pufferfish or rare horse meat it can go quite expensive. I had sushi and the sashimi and ala cart orders for dinner and the bill worked out to be 25SGD per pax… not too bad.
You can look at my other HK posts to see the food I’ve previously recommended. Most of the time I eat at Central cause I love the food there especially Yung Kee Restaurant. And you have to give Maxim Tim Sum at City Hall a go!
At Kowloon you can try Spring Deer (1/F, 42 Mody Road, +85223664012), they have very nice peking duck or Kam Wah Cafe (47 Bute Street, Mong Kok) which is a typical chinese dinner that have cheap eats.
But in general most of the food there even the unknown diner on the streets have quite a good standard of quality… I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun and yummy food!
