Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Underneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I and an eternal flame lit since 1921. It is located just at one end of the Champ Elysees and it is 2nd largest triumphal arch in the world. (The largest is in North Korea).

Here’a video (found at www.renzze.com) that shows a combination of exploits from the Notre Dame and unknown streets of Paris to the Tuileries Garden and the Arc de Triomphe!
