One of China’s most massive bamboo forest and the location where the famous “Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger” was filmed. Though seen by millions around the world, Anji Bamboo Forest is still not yet an international tourist destination and is more famed with the locals.
It’s really just a big bamboo forest so unless you are crazy for bamboo there isn’t much to do there. But if you want to shoot your own production, well, the sea of bamboo gives the perfect sword fighting background!
Personally I much rather hike at the tea plantations. I find the Japanese bamboo forest to be a lot more enticing and well kept then the Anji bamboo forest which is still being logged everyday.
