I wandered around the different alleyways of old shanghai and found it to be rather interesting. Many homes still preserve the old ways of living despite being in a modern world. Laundry is stretched across the alleys in between homes and nearby, little local markets filled with food that’s so cheap you wonder how they could even make a profit.
But technology and the modern Shanghai invades in their own ways. The multitude of wire in the alley ways are massive and shocking! I wonder how the electricians find their way around! And just across the river, is new Shanghai with all their sky scrapers and new age buildings.
