This is mainly going to be a photo intensive post as I’m sick in bed with high fever caused by stomach flu. I can’t even begin to describe how much hate feeling this weak and horrendous. Instead of doing the usual {Throwback Thursday} post, I wanted to share a little happiness on my blog to shoo away the bad vibes.
It’s been quite awhile since I’ve celebrated any birthday party in a kindergarten and it’s so much fun seeing the sweet and innocent faces all excited about their classmate getting one year older. They were all being extremely obedient so they can be a part of the celebrations as a good guest. Being one year older as a child just means so much more than being one year older when you are an adult and its a priceless joy to be among that every once in awhile.
There were McDonald happy meals coupled with chocolates and presents to take home. Which kid doesn’t like being spoilt every once in awhile?
I simply loved the rainbow birthday cake which tasted as good as it looks. Of course, the kids had all the fondant cut away before consumption. We didn’t want them to be on a sugar high!
I hope these photos keep your day a little brighter as it did mine. I’m gonna crawl back under my sheets and sleep off the rest of my fever now. I’ve had to cancel on my appointments all week because of this sudden and intense illness so lets hope the fever storm passes and that I’ll see the silver lining together with some rainbows thrown in when I wake up .
Hi Karen, that’s a nice birthday cake. Would you mind sharing the cake shop contact? Thanks
Hi Shirlene,
Unfortunately, I don’t have the cake contact as it wasn’t bought by me. If I do find out I’ll update again.
