Love Mi Grand Opening

I totally believe in supporting the local brand names and so does Elaine who was supporting Love Mi since their early days! We spent our Friday afternoon skipping our coffee date and instead, spent it checking out Love Mi newest store opening at the very new Star Vista Mall! It was my first time in this super new mall and I think it’s pretty well-situated at the Bona Vista MRT station.

Love Mi started as an online blog store and within 2 years, they have rapidly expanded as their customers love the Love Mi house label design and affordable pricing.

The opening was well thought out all the way to the minute details. Look how cute the Love Mi drink potions are!

Lots of yummy bites as well! And they even had a stylist, Lionel, on hand to show the invitees how they can style themselves with Love Mi fashionable items.

Porche, the pretty emcee for the day was also in a Love Mi creation!

Belinda is the beauty and the brains behind Love Mi! She believes that everyone needs to Love themselves (Love Mi) as well as dress up every day. Even when she is on her own and not intending to go anywhere, she’ll always make sure that she’s dressed beautifully because, as Belinda puts it, “You never know who you might meet!”.

And thus, who can be a better choice than Belinda herself as the model for her clothes! Lionel, the stylist is also wearing a Love Mi dress as a long vest! Incredible right? Belinda has on a grey convertible dress and it’s made of really nice stretchy material. Elaine bought this dress in a lovely turquoise color.

I love this long sleeves onesie! Yes it’s one whole piece even though it looks like a perfectly matched top and shorts. Simple and casual but all you have to do to look smart is to throw on some heels and a jacket!

This looks like a dress but is in fact, a 2 piece top and dress. The tube top is a body suit and I bought that piece in a white, black combo. Bodysuits are great with pencil skirts and pants as you get the sleek tuck-in look without having to worry about bunching. I’ve yet to wear that piece out but I’m sure it’ll be soon.

Time to do some shopping!!! We took a lot more photos but most of it were on Elaine’s camera.

I tried on a long beautiful maxi dress that was a tad too big for me so Lionel suggested I try the short dress that Porsche wore and it fit like a dream.
