Wella hair products have been around for as long as I can remember. I was invited to take up their Style Revolution challenge recently. It’s really simple just take a picture of yourself in the most distressed state with terrible hair and grumpy face and then make a transformation out of it to look as different as possible !!!
This is a picture of me with a “I had a bad day, why the hell is my hair so ugly, shoot the mirror down, leave me alone” look. And with the power of Wella Shockwaves hair products and a superb makeup artist.
Ta-dah!
Isn’t the transformation huge? Makeup and hair can change a person entirely!
I’m no model and not genetically blessed with good looks so comfortable to pose with a professional photographer was a challenge but Brabara was so nice and so easy to work with. She even expertly turned my scarf into a whole new top.
Now, why do I need to go to so much trouble to have the most extreme before and after photos?
Well, Wella is kindly sponsoring the person with the largest transformation a pair of tickets to London! You can join too! All you have to do is come up with the most drastic before and after photos of yourself and submit it to Wella’s campaign on the Watsons Facebook page.
To make it even easier for you, here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/watsons.sg/app_302257933204591?ref=ts&refid=0
You can submit as many pairs of different looks as you like but do submit before the 19th August 2012! Deadline is looming so submit soon!
I had so much fun with the transformation and I’m pretty sure the other bloggers that took up the challenge were just as excited!
I won’t post up the unflattering before photos of most of the rest of the bloggers and I’ll leave it to them to show you n their blogs. But I’ll show you the snapshots of the process! I realized that most of them had more difficulties with the before shots which goes to prove it’s easier to be beautiful than to be ugly. But I admire each and every one of them for daring to look ugly and aiming for the largest transformation results.
I’ll show you some of the awesome after shots of some of the bloggers. If you want to see more you can go directly to their blogs. Visit the Wella campaign to see which bloggers were invited to take the challenge.
They all look so cool right? I’m going to vote for them! Oh did I mention that if you submit your photos for the Wella contest, you can get your friends and family to vote for you and voters get a chance to win prizes as well! Share the love right?
Kevin and I were the last to do our shoots that day so after the wrap up, we decided to take some crazy photos with our super lovable photographer, Barbara!
Thanks guys for all the fun I had. And I hope to see everyone’s submission for the Wella style revolution contest. I really hope the pair of winning tickets to London will go to one of my readers. Jia You!

You look lovely! Like an Asian Dita Von Teese!! And I’m amazed at how young you look without makeup! Definitely doesn’t look like you are in your 30s.
Hi Weiqi,
Thanks! Thats a really nice compliment 🙂
