Ponggol Choon Seng Seafood

Brought my family to try out this seafood restaurant in the Changi area cause my mum was craving for seafood!

This restaurant was established in 1956 and it used to be at the Ponggol End Jetty. I remember my parents bringing me to eat at the original restaurant location when I was very little. It was just a zinc roof coffee shop but they were famous for their chilli crab, mee goreng and crispy baby squids. I have no idea when they moved but now they are at Changi Point.

Now it’s a restaurant setting in a colonial building. The food is pretty good but definitely a lot dearer than when they were still at Ponggol End. My mum enjoyed the food and we ordered a whole lot of their signature dishes and even tried their peking duck.

I’ll definitely go back there again since their lunch menu looks pretty good and I like that it isn’t too crowded. If you want to try them, it’s best that you drive there because it’s not that accessible by public transport.
