Food and Sports in KL

I frequent our neighboring country, Malaysia quite a bit. I’m not so much the weekend JB sort of visitor but tend to go further up towards KL – Ipoh – Penang. Friends always assume that I must do a lot of shopping there especially since our currency is so much stronger which equates to greater purchasing power. They can’t possibly be further from the truth.

In fact, I don’t buy anything at all.

I spend all my money filling my tummy!

The food there is fabulously yummy with unhealthy proportions of lard which somehow makes the food so much more enticing and tasty. Portions are generous and desserts are always filled to the brim with quality ingredients.

I have many KL friends to thank for bringing me around to all the most delicious local joints that foreigners never hear off… and to AC for being my entertainer… driver and tour guide whenever I’m there. I promise to do the same for you when you come to Singapore.

Here are some foodie pics from Sunway and Ipoh as well.

Secondary to eating, I do sports there… badminton… table tennis… archery… bowling… hiking. I can’t get enough! And it’s so much cheaper to do it over there then back home in Singapore.

I’ll share more pictures of my hike soon!
