Traditional Japanese Spa Hotel

I know I’ll get asked where this resort hotel and spa is and unfortunately, even though I tried the last 30 mins to recall where I stayed, I couldn’t recall the name of the hotel. But there are so many hotels in the Hakone region that have the view of Mount Fuji with natural hot spring baths, indoor as well as outdoor ones.

After the tatami bed was all done up by the hotel staff, I changed into the provided yukata for the rest of the evening 🙂

First, a dip into the hot spring waters to rejuvenate myself. The hot spring baths are divide into male and females. But you have to go in totally butt naked. No swim wear is allowed. It was such a good sensation to just soak in the warm water improving my blood circulation.

After that, a yummy dinner at the restaurant before I spent the night watching hilarious Japanese variety programs.

      Ed,

Get a quick fix of sashimi and the ringing will fade 🙂
