JR Central Towers

I had dinner at the JR Central Towers which is like the twin towers of Nagoya. They sit above the Nagoya Station which is the world’s largest train station by floor area. There were lots of shopping in that area but I don’t really remember to take photos when shopping.

After dinner it was a short and lovely stroll back to my hotel at Castle Plaza.

I couldn’t manage to ask for directions even in Tokyo with my broken Japanese. Ditto for cab drivers. And they are so reliant on their GPS they take the longer route.
So, I am afraid I wouldn’t be able to do ‘free n easy’ travelling in Japan.
Your pork katsu makes me remember it’s been a few months since I savoured this dish.

      Ivy,

I know very little Japanese but I find Japan still relatively easy to go free and easy. Just that much planning and research needs to be done before heading over. Of course if you are going there for the first time, it’s best to follow a tour or ask a friend to take you around!
