As I the night wore on, we all had our fill of food and drink so it was time to play! The guys were mainly drinking and playing Wii or PS3 in the house.
While the girls started with their gift giving! Lots of smiles and laughter as we try to guess each others presents!
I guess when you have a bunch of girls together it’s always lots of fun. Looking at these photos reminds me that it’s been a really long time since I had a big party with all the girls together and it’ll be harder as the years go by with all of us in different busy stages of our lives – expecting children, jetsetting, building up new businesses, moving overseas and so on.
Time flew by much quicker for me this year. Or is time getting shorter with every year. I can believe I’m in the middle of 2010 already! If I had to write about Year 2010 when I was a kid in the 1980s, I would have imagined it to be some hi-tech space age (blame it on influences of “Back to the future” !) and that it was a long long way away. But in a blink of an eye, here I am… in 2010 with life as a huge vortex of energy sweeping me away in such a hurry.
I’m absolutely looking forward to 2101’s Christmas! A time where everyone would take time to celebrate the joy of living and the blessings of friendship and love.
We ended the night with board games, brought courtesy of Akiee who came all the way to Singapore to spend Christmas with us.
Oh, and my outfit for the BBQ…
