Doggies' Halloween 2009

Yes I know I know! It’s already March 2010! Why am I still blogging about Halloween 2009! Thats so last year!

Well, the fact is I got so caught up with traveling and sorts the last half year that I haven’t had time to post up the photos and I owe it to many of my friends to put up the pics too. So not only is it just Halloween but there will be Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and more out dated posts that will be coming your way. Give me time as I let my posts catch up with my current happenings yah?

As I mentioned, I had a couple of Halloween parties to attend after the wedding but I didn’t bring along my camera so no photos. Louis and Emmie went along to some of those parties, stopping over at MASKA club as well as Debbie’s party to say hi!

As you can tell from the photos, their Halloween theme was insects and Emmie dressed as a ladybug while Louis was a bumble bee!

Instead of “Trick or Treat”, they went more towards and “Trick and Treat” approach. Happily performing tricks for doggie treats in return! Like little children, they must be really happy to have gathered some yummies that day!

I can totally understand how you feel bout writing backdated entries. I thought I was the most backdate person ever but I’ve found my match. *LOL* My backdate is till last December. Been missing on writing abu the NYC trip due to lack of time.

Dressing up your canine pals for halloween is such a neat idea and they look really lovely in their garden theme. I used to feel for the dogs whenever owners dress them up.. wondering if they actually enjoy it but my frenz with dogs said that surprisingly their dogs love wearing clothes and some of them used to think like me too.

I’m loving your bob wig! Inspired to get one too after one of my fren had on bob wig for halloween too. She too was a Chinese ghost. *LOL*

      Jolene,

Lol… yes I haven’t seen your NYC photos! I’m still trying to play catch-up with my photos and experiences but traveling so much ( I’m overseas as I type these) makes it more difficult cause it’s not always that I find time to log on when I’m travelling.

I guess it varies from dog to dog. Louis absolutely loves dressing up while Emmie not so much… but I tend to let them do the same things together. If one dresses up so must the other. If I bring one dog out for a walk the other must go to. You cannot imagine how much “sibling” rivalry can occur sometimes. LOL… they really are like children. I don’t dress them up often though… mainly due to the weather in Singapore but from the time I had them, Christmas, Halloween and birthdays were a time to dress up cause I would usually be dressing up to a theme too! And weirdly they know too cause they would get all excited seeing me in a christmas hat or a different look at Halloween. They are usually welcomed among my friends and family and it’s only polite they adhere to the dress code. =)

I wanted to cut my hair into this bob so many times but I didn’t have enough guts to. Everytime I considered it, my stylist or my family and friends would advise me against it cause of the high maintenance a bob has. Short hair means regular trimming or it’ll be out of shape and look funny. Plus I’m so small it’ll make me even more pixie like! Haha… so for now the wig helps out on those occasion I like to have a little change.
