Accompanied my mum for her appointment at Tan TTS Hospital and had Loy Kee chicken rice with my parents at Balestier Road. One of their favourite food haunts! The food is quite yummy though not the best chicken rice around. Ambience is rather old school so I guess it brings a lot of nostalgia to the patrons that have been supporting them since the 1950s.

I prefer the Loy Kee Chicken Rice in Whampoa Market itself 😛 Been eating from there since I was about 3 years old….
