Went for the play Sing Dollar with a friend some time ago at the Esplanade.
It was pretty good watching the star-studded cast come together. Who says Singapore has no artistic talent? In fact I’m also looking forward to catch The Hossan Leong Show in October and Broaway Beng 4: Jiak Liu Lian in December. I’ve already gotten the October tickets but I haven’t bought my December Broadway Beng tickets cause I’m not yet sure which dates I’ll be around.
Headed down to Esplanade after work. Which meant it was a peak crowd all around. We pop by a few restaurants but the waiting queue was too long so we ended up at Glutton’s Bay grabbing Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng before the show started. It was pretty good though a little expensive for hawker prices. Then again, we were in town so it wasn’t entirely unexpected.
This last picture was taken just before we headed into the concert hall!
hi, where is ur shoes from? may i know your curls are self-set or u permed ur hair?
ameila,
I bought the shoes in Japan earlier this year. My curls are permed but I permed them quite some time back already so if I want to get nice curls I need to blow dry my hair cause if I air dry, the weight will pull my curls down.
which kind of perm is that? is it spa perm? eventhough my hair was permed but i never achieve this kind of curl u hv…really nice n bouncy! did u use any curler or u juz blow dry?
amelia,
I did a digital perm. Most perm hair will not be so bouncy (unless you just permed it) unless you blow dry… preferably with a diffuser and a round brush.
last picture, very nice! the colour of your hair matches the fairy lights on the trees 😀 so you went into the concert hall without any jacket? i would be freezing cold. i’m scared of the cold!
xiaoqi,
Lol… I’m the opposite! I can take cold pretty well but I’m terribly afraid of the sweltering heat!
i am scared of both! haha. i envy you. sometimes i don’t have matching jackets for my outfits so when it gets cold and there’s no choice but to put on one, i feel like i’m spoiling my outfits. necessary evil..
Xiaoqi,
I think motorcycle jackets tend to fit most outfits or if you want a more feminine alternative, a cropped cardi or a long cardi with belt usually works well too.
yeah i am stocking up on motorcycle jackets! 😀 but they aren’t very suitable if i start work in the accounting line. i always can’t find a cardigan that is thick enough to keep me warm. i end up relying on a blazer and shawls.
Xiaoqi,
For work I also rely alot on Blazers and BF jackets. Either those or those double breasted mini trenches. They let me get aways with a lot of outfits that would otherwise be a tad unsuitable for an office environment.
