One of my favorite food grounds is the Katong/Joo Chiat area. And recently I popped by for some Bak Kut Teh! Just to share some of my yummy supper pictures with you.
Sin Heng Claypot Bak Kut Teh is open 24hours except for Monday. Those who are interested to check them out might want to take note. There’s limited but free parking for patrons only.
This place has it’s share of praises from various food reviews. I like that the Bak Kut Teh here is not your usual peppercorn soup version (Teochew Style) but rather the more herbal sort. It’s still on the peppery side but I feel that the herbs gives it more character.
They would also give you both normal red chillies as well as chilli padis… how thoughtful!
I was just too hungry that day so I forgot to take my outfit picture… another time perhaps.
